Repertoire: We have a team of wedding pianists who specialise in a range of different styles of music (modern/pop, classical, jazz). You can check out an extensive set list on our website with over 130 recordings!!

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire? As a specialist wedding piano music agency, we are used to learning requests. James (the owner and wedding co-ordinator) will select a pianist that specialises in the style of music that you like and he will pass on your requests to them. Our pianists spend half of their time playing at weddings and the other half of the time learning requests. We are happy to make a sample recording of any of your music ideas if it helps you to choose the music that you like.

Experience: We currently send pianists to nearly 200 weddings a year and we have been working in the wedding industry since 2006. PianoDJ is a specialist wedding piano music agency and we are really brilliant at what we do (please read our testimonials and listen to the recordings on our website). Outside of the wedding work, our pianists play all over the UK and Europe. Prominent venues include the Dorchester, Harrods, The Royal Albert Hall and our musicians have played for celebrities such as Johnny Dep, Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand and Jools Holland.

How much time do you need to prepare for an act? Our pianists are used to playing for weddings and they each have 5-7 hours of music prepared in their current repertoire. This means that if we have a pianist available, we can even send one to play for your wedding on the same day. We are often used by other pianists as a "back-up" agency and we cover them in case of illness of emergencies. Our reputation for reliability and outstanding quality is widespread. Our musicians can learn any requests pretty quickly, but we ask for your requests to be submitted 14 days before your wedding (where possible) so that our pianists can prepare as fully as possible.

What is the length of time of the act? This varies depending on what part of your day you book the pianist for. We understand the fluid nature of a wedding and that is why we don't book our pianists by the hour - we book them by the part of the day. For example, you can book a pianist for the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, or all three! The maximum amount of time that a pianist will play for in one wedding is 6 hours. After this time, it is likely that they will feel discomfort in their back and hands and it is not fair to ask them to play for longer than this.

How far in advance should I contact you? We are taking bookings for weddings two years in advance, so if you really want to book us and guarentee the best pianist for your preferred styles of music then I would recommend booking as soon as possible. If you are not particularly fussed about the type of piano music then you could wait until the last minute and see if we still have a pianist available. We have a large team of musicians and it is likely (but not certain) that we will have somebody who can play for your wedding.
