The Grinnigogs play medieval music with virtuosity, theatricality and a real sense of fun. If you are planning a medieval wedding or event, The Grinnigogs are a perfect way to set the scene and create the right ambience and a wonderful suggestion for couples who are arranging a wedding with a difference. Offering a wide variety of medieval-themed performers, The Grinnigogs are hugely popular for weddings, street performances, historical sites, corporate themed parties and banquets.
The Grinnigogs can play music for your guests as they arrive, create a musical ambience during the drinks reception and provide musical accompaniment to your meal, performing from a fixed spot or strolling amongst your guests.
The Grinnigogs will tailor the entertaiment to suit all budgets and if you have special requests to be played during events The Grinnigogs are more than happy to learn them. Recent requests include bespoke medieval arrangements of computer game tunes, an obscure Moody Blues track, Metallica, and the theme tune from Red Dwarf!
And if dancing is required, a medieval dance is a wonderful alternative or warm-up for a disco. Our dance leader and musicians will guide you through a variety of period dances. The music is lively and exciting with an emphasis on fun and participation.
If you are looking for a full programme of events, or to add extra excitement to proceedings, The Grinnigogs offer an exciting choice of medieval entertainment: minstrels, jugglers, jesters, fortune tellers, stilt-walkers, and can provide a medieval band with up to seven musicians.

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service? No

Do you do open-air acts? Yes

How much time do you need to prepare for an act? 1 hour - to tune up and get into costume.

What is the length of time of the act? We usually perform 3 x half hour spots - but you can divide the 90 minutes performance time into chunks that suit you.

How far in advance should I contact you? As soon as possible - it's good to talk through the arrangements and your vision for the vent so that we can give useful advice and make helpful suggestions.

Form of payment: Cash or cheque on the day we also ask for a small deposit/cancellation fee (20%)
