Most couples choose to have a mixture of both. Alan is skilled at organising diverse groups of people, but can also blend into the background to capture the more spontaneous, natural moments.

Free engagement shoot
As an established and recognised portrait photographer, Alan produces superb results during engagement photoshoots. It's your special day, so with each of the satin silk and silver wedding photography packages he offers includes a free engagement shoot.
Ideal for the camera shy, this allows him to get to know you and how you want your photography on the day. A week or so before the wedding he meets with you again to talk through all your plans and what you expect from him so that the result is just what you wanted.
Free consultation
Finding the correct photographer for your wedding is an important decision and he wants to be sure that you've made the right choice. This is why he offers a free hour consultation, so that you can get to know him and his wedding photography style. It will also allow a chance to ask questions and discover more about the fabulous packages.
Alan is available for pre wedding photo sessions if required. This is ideal if you are investing in a picturesque location that might have bad weather on the wedding day meaning you may miss out on the location shots.
Also behind the scenes, he visits all the locations for your big day, and will attend rehearsals if available.

How far in advance should I contact you? If the date is free in my diary, a minimum of six weeks is optimal. However, last minute bookings are considered to help couples out.

What is the charge for traveling? No travel cost within the boundaries of Kent, or within a reasonable distance from my bases in Birmingham and Derby. Other destinations are 40p/m. Overnight stay and other costs are negogiable.
