I took my first wedding photographs around 30 years ago (I know I don't look old enough!!)as a favour for a friend and never stopped.

A high percentage of my work comes from personal recommendation, I hope because I take great pictures and offer a competitive service but also because I have a relaxed attitude and try to get the best from people by making photography fun and un-obtrusive.

Most couples require the traditional shots such as the group shots of family and friends but more and more are demanding candid and reportage style shots which is much more enjoyable for all concerned (especially me the photographer).

I try to combine all styles in the weddings I cover, though occasionally I am asked to concentrate on the candid/reportage style and to avoid the traditional "group" shots altogether.

I take the view that all weddings are different and the photography should reflect the mood of the day. Contained on the gallery pages is a sample of my work to give a taste of what I do.
