Jonny Thompson is an award-winning photographer with over 20 year’s experience. Shooting for advertising and editorial clients from his London studio and on locations around the world, he has now relocated to the South Coast and shoots weddings all over the South East and beyond.
Consultation
His main concern is that you the customer is happy, so he will always meet a couple in advance of the wedding. He will listen to your plans, and aims to give you something you are delighted with, whether that’s something traditional, modern or perhaps something completely different. All weddings vary – they are as different as the people celebrating them – he is happy and flexible enough to understand this and work alongside you.
Wedding Photography
We will cover all the usual scenarios on the day – the Bride getting ready, the Groom waiting, The Ceremony, signing The Register, Cutting The Cake etc – plus all the informal moments. Each wedding is about the couples’ own personality – we capture the serious moments, the romantic ones, and the amusing ones too.

What is the charge for traveling? I will travel anywhere - I have one in Italy shortly. My travel expenses are at cost. Generally approx 50 p per mile, but we can negotiate this if required further afield.

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach? Each wedding requires an innovative approach! I have various high-end cameras and equipment each designed for specific purposes.

How do you work? I meet a couple in advance of the wedding to discuss their requirements. I show them my previous work and discuss how they might like their wedding photography to take place. I am open, warm and communicative and happy to field questions and suggestions from them leading up to the wedding day itself. I can then provide a beautiful storybook of their wedding day.
