Over the last few years wedding photography has changed dramatically, gone are the dated "stand to attention" photos of old. Nowadays, its all about capturing the moment as it happens. Its about recreating an atmosphere, its about fun, but most of all it represents a lifestyle that you feel proud to be part of! It is important though to get the balance right, you still need some posed shots, you still need a few of the old classics and what you end up with is a timeless album full of fun memories of a great day.

I have established myself in offering professional wedding photography around Cornwall, and the Devon city of Plymouth. Recently I have been spending a fair amount of time in Hampshire and I am looking to take on more wedding bookings in the Winchester and Southampton area. There is more to professional wedding photography as my work also includes panoramic views, landscapes and photographic work for advertising agencies. I love to take pictures at sunrise and sunset, its a magical time of day and has a certain romance about it that is lost during the rest of the day.

Why Me?

I first took an interest in photography at school, it was one of only a few that taught it as an O level. This gave me an excellent grounding and very soon I was totally hooked doing my own developing, printing and photographing anything that moved (or didnt move). Over the years my passion developed mainly towards natural history but I soon found myself covering weddings, local events, etc. Well, that was a long time ago but even then I tried to capture more than just plain old wedding pictures. I really believe you need a certain passion and flare to take wedding photography to another level and make an album great.

One of my specialties is panoramics and with the advent of digital imaging, beautiful pictures can be created with stunning details at almost any size. Some of my larger pictures have been printed eight feet wide!
