Sam Docker is a creative and vintage inspired photographer. Although based in Derby, he is available for weddings, portraits and commercial work throughout the Midlands and the UK.
Creative Wedding Photography
Sam's role on your wedding day is to be as professional and unobtrusive as possible, allowing you to enjoy your special day. Along with ensuring the traditional portrait and family shots are obtained, his real strength and passion lies in capturing natural visuals of the day, usually when you aren’t even looking!
Vintage Wedding Photography
Having originally trained as a creative designer, his experience working within vintage fashion allowed him to develop his passion for photography. It's this combination of understanding textures, design and compositions that allows Sam to capture your special day in a truly stunning format - from wonderful close-up shots of your wedding setup, to gorgeous portraits of the bride and groom.
Sam is able to offer formal and reportage photography, and his particular strength lies in being able to capture those natural moments of the couple and their guests enjoying the day.
Wedding Photography Prices
Packages start from £495 with bespoke packages also available. There are no hidden extras, and unlike other photographers, all the image copyrights are the customers, and you'd be free to distribute/print however you like.

How far in advance should I contact you? As early as possible! The longer you leave it, the less chance you have, as enquiries are received every day.

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach? I use 2 professional digital SLRs with numerous lenses, but I'm also very keen on taking shots on 35mm in order to achieve a vintage style. Please contact me for examples.

How do you work? I'm extremely detailed and prepared before I arrive, and I always like to meet the couples and visit the venue before the wedding day. I am able to offer a 2nd photographer if required, please contact for further details. On the day itself, I'm extremely professional, well-presented and I try to be as unobtrusive as possible, allowing you to relax and enjoy your special day.

Form of payment: A deposit of £150 is required in order to guarantee my services for the day, this can be paid by cheque or bank transfer. The remainder of the balance will be split between the wedding day and delivery of the images, again, payment to be made by cheque or bank transfer.
