I am a documentary photographer and I find the moments which tell your story. I work in a discrete and unobtrusive way, when you want to, you can forget about me. I'm also quietly attentive, so at times you can choose to involve me and look directly at the camera, this is lovely because it's natural and spontaneous, it’s fundamental to the way I work.
The camera is also a unique creative tool and can be used to see things differently it's not just about capturing real events which will become real memories, it's about seeing in a particular way, I feel I look for the natural beauty in all things.

The starting point is that it’s your wedding day and not a photo shoot. My own love and skill in photography is to unobtrusively watch and wait for those natural moments which tell the real story. And of course a wedding is perfect for this- it’s such an important, wonderful day. It’s a day you want to re-live over and over again and by having your photograph taken when you are natural, happy and often unaware of the camera -you really do remember those moments every time you look at your photographs.

How far in advance should I contact you? Most of my clients contact me 6 months to a year in advance, but last minute is always possible too.

What style of photos do you take? Artistic, Photo journalism

What is the charge for traveling? I charge only the travel costs and then only if it is more than 100 miles from my base.

What kind of technology do you use? Digital

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach? My photography is very natural as I work unobtrusively, and as clients very quickly relax with me, even the group photos are relaxed and enjoyable. A lot of my clients don't like being photographed so it's very important to them that they feel relaxed and comfortable with me which they do.

How do you work? I unobtrusively follow the day as it happens to tell the story and catch the personal moments and I also wait carefully for candid portraits of all the important people. All the details of the day are also found and photographed. I look for the natural beauty of all things, I use natural light and I have a light touch which enables me to be involved without interference.

Form of payment: The deposit is £90.00 and the remainder of the balance is due two weeks before the wedding.
