Your Hand in Mine has teamed up with a leading wedding videographer to offer wedding videography and photography in one all inclusive package. We can also offer video alone if you've already booked your photographer.

Mission

Steve is also a full member of the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers, the professional association for Wedding and Portrait Photographers, who's mission is to ensure high standards of photography and a professional code of conduct to which all members must adhere.

People often ask me what the best thing about being a wedding photographer is. It's an easy question to answer - it's the feeling I get when a bride or groom tell me they've seen their photographs and that they are "fantastic", "brilliant" or "amazing" or that I've "captured the day perfectly" - or that they "love how I've photographed the little moments we didn't even know were happening..." Experience

I have been photographing peoples weddings since 2005. In this time I've built up enough experience to know that every wedding is different and no two bride and grooms' expectations are the same. I meet every couple at least once to really get to grips with the style of photographs that they're looking for. I've been photographing weddings for long enough to know what I'm doing, yet having a style which is always evolving. I still get excited the morning of each wedding, knowing that I'll be creating memories that will be cherished for years to come!

My Approach

My style of photography is non-intrusive reportage, with a few friendly formals and bridal portraiture. This is exactly as it sounds - crafting journalistic style "fly on the wall" photographs along with formal posed photographs - taken quickly and professionally - moving on to making gorgeous portrait photographs of the bride and groom; it is your day after all!

I don't spend hours lining your guests into formal groups while people wait around getting bored. I'm not loudy, bossy or egocentric. I know that people (especially children) don't look their best when told to stand still and smile

Most of my wedding photography work comes from referals, people who have liked how I photograph previous weddings, loved the photographs they've received and booked me as their own wedding photographer.
