Elegant dining: Previous One & Only events have taken place in a gorgeous London restaurant, such as Christopher’s in Covent Garden (pictured). Your hens are welcomed on arrival by a cocktail or a glass of Prosecco and encouraged to mix and mingle before dinner. A private dining room helps guests to relax and a bespoke three-course menu can be agreed beforehand to take the stress out of eating out.

Tea and cake: Afternoon tea is a flexible theme can be tailored to the age group of your party. Perfect for including mums, grandmothers and children, the food and fine china provides a real talking point. There a number of optional add-ons. Prosecco is ideal for a grown-up twist. Dine in a hotel restaurant or why not book a suite? Many hotels offer suites with enough seating for 10 and the bride-to-be can stay on that evening, too, for a small-scale evening event.

Spa sensation: A daytime spa taster or day-and-stay spa overnight is ideal for a relaxing bridal shower. Choose from a selection of spas that specialise in groups.
