Diamonds are a girl's best friend, but in this case (unless you are a millionaire) it's all about diamanté. If you want sparkle, style and that special touch, read on for the lowdown on these little gems.

Diamanté are a great way of adding an affordable sparkle to your big day. While for your “sparkler”, nothing but the real thing will do, nobody expects you to adorn your dress, hair or bouquet with real gems. So get binging!

Diamanté can be embroidered onto the bodice of your dress in detailed areas or all over if you are the more outrageous type. They can also be sewn in rows or lines across certain parts of the skirt so that when you walk, you shimmer.
They can be incorporated into your hairstyle either dotted all over, or by wearing a diamanté encrusted hair piece, fascinator or, of course, a tiara.

Nails can be inlayed with diamanté, either just single one on each nail or a more serious look with a pattern (heart, flowers).
You could wear a piece of body art in diamanté, in a star, heart, flower or the letters LOVE. You could even wear it in a more (ahem) intimate area to show off on your wedding night!
If you have a real tattoo and want to show it off you could add a touch of glitter and diamanté to it to enhance it.
The bouquet holder can be studded with them, or the flowers themselves can be dotted in each centre with a sparkler.

You could have a bouquet made entirely from crystals, or diamanté, or made from diamanté brooches for an elegant alternative to flowers.
For some Cinderella glam, wear diamanté encrusted shoes, you will be the belle of the ball no matter what, but these will ensure you truly outshine the rest!
