Bridal Headdresses

Headresses are in fashion right now. If you are one of the many fans and you want to wear one on your big day, do it! You will achieve a chic and elegant look. In this article we'll share the secrets to choosing the right one for you.

A headdress is a bold, playful, elegant and above all, original accessory. The most important thing when choosing a headdress, apart from it going well with your dress, is that you feel beautiful in it.

If your wedding dress is a simple cut and without large decorative features, the headdress can afford to be more eye-catching and combine different materials to make it look spectacular. If, on the other hand, your wedding dress is a work of art in itself, you will need to go for a smaller and simpler headdress that will draw attention to and complement your dress.

Flowers, feathers, gemstones, lace etc... big, small....vintage, classic or current...The options are endless, but how do you decide?

  • The structure of your face as well as the size of your head and the length of your neck will be vital to your decision. The larger your head, the smaller the headdress.
  • You should decide on how you will wear your hair at the same time as choosing a headdress. This is the easiest way to ensure that both look fantastic. But if you've already decided on a particular hairstyle, look for a headdress that will complement it, and vice versa if you find the headdress before choosing your hairstyle. Broadly speaking, large headdresses are recommended for long and straight hair. The smaller little hat style headdresses embellished with tulle or raffia are suitable for hair-up or semi up hairstyles.
  • The time of the ceremony is also a factor to bear in mind. If it is a morning wedding, the headdress can be larger and more ostentatious. But if it is an evening wedding, it's better to go for something smaller, with gemstones or sequins.

Remember that wearing a headdress requires a certain attitude, so it's important that you feel comfortable in it. If you are not used to wearing headdresses, maybe choose something smaller so that you carry it well.
