How to Use Photos for an Original Decorative effect
Everybody loves to go through old photos and remember days gone by. Here's the low-down on how to create an emotive and original decoration using family photos.

All houses have it, so why not a wedding? What?! A photo corner of course! What better moment than a wedding to remember the past as well as the present, to involve family members who can't make the big day or even pay tribute to those no longer with us.
It's a DIY decoration that is simple, cheap and emotive. All you need are the photos, string or ribbon, and clips. You will create an original talking point to keep all your guests entertained... just make sure you hide those bad hair cuts from your teenage years...!
Here's the how-to:
- Choose and then copy all the photos you wish to use. Don't use originals as they may get destroyed by weather.
- Buy string, ribbon or twine, according to the decorative theme of your wedding. 10 metres should be more than sufficient.
- Buy wooden pegs or multicoloured mini-crocodile clips, again it's up to the overall decorative effect. You could even paint your own pegs, but make sure they are totally dry before using.

Now to put it all together! If you have indoor space you can put it up the day before, but if it's outdoors don't leave them out overnight, just in case.
In our example you can see we strung them up between two trees, but you could hang them against a wall, or wrap them around a column. Et voila! An original and easy DIY decoration for your wedding!
