Some couples prefer a prescriptive wedding list, carefully totting up what they need, finding a shop that will represent all the things on the list, and making sure there is something to suit all pockets price wise. But what if your guests want to choose their own gifts for you? What if they want to employ all their creativity and imagination in finding something that you will just love...!

There are many fun packed and original ways of bestowing a lovely present to the newly-weds, for example:

Weekend away. Why not send them on a mini break. When the weddings all done, and the honeymoon is over, they will still have something to look forward to to break the post wedding blues. Choose something not too far from where they live. A country getaway is the perfect option for outdoor types who love walking hiking or being in nature. Otherwise you could choose a mini-break in a roimantic city: think Paris, Rome, Madrid...
If they are the more adventurous active type, you could give them some more extreme experiences. For example, flying lessons, parachuting, or adventure sports like white water rafting, hang gliding... and for the night after a relaxing spa hotel.
If your friends are foodies, you might give them a wine tasting or gastronomic course. How about a pastry lesson from the top pastry chef for the ones with a sweet tooth, or sushi making course for the Asian food lover?
Who doesn't love a relaxing massage? After the nerves and excitement of the wedding, and the honeymoon is done and dusted, they will really appreciate this little pick-me-up. Beauty treatments or relaxing treatments as a couple are the perfect gift.
In the case that they haven’t already done it, book them a “trash the dress” photo session, a post-wedding photo shoot where they get to dress up all over again and take some unusual photos.
