The Perfect Hair for the Perfect day
Choosing which hairstyle to go for on your wedding day is always a challenge and can depend on a so many different factors...read on for advice about wedding hair styles for different hair types.
To put yourself in the hands of a good professional is without a doubt the best guarantee for a perfect hairstyle on your wedding day. There are of course, other factors to take into consideration, one of the most important being the need to choose a hair style that works for your hair type. To help you with this, here are a few things to think about…

Hair that is fine and very straight can be difficult to manage because it slips easily and can fall out of place when it is worn up. To counteract this, wash your hair the day before the wedding (if not it will be too slippery to support the style) and use the help of specialist hair products to give your hair more volume. Another alternative is to use hair extensions that can add extra body to your hair.
Thick hair has a tendency to appear frizzy after a long day especially if there if there is rain forecast! It may be worth looking into treating your hair with specialist products in the days leading up to your special day to avoid this from happening. Speak to your hairdresser who will be able to offer you a number of options. Hairstyles that are firmly fixed are better suited for this hair type.
For long hair, the most popular option is an up-do or a semi-up-do style and the options are numerous ranging from a classic bun to something more daring and imaginative. If you decide to wear your long hair loose, there are lots of ways to make it special, be it soft curls, a flower pinning up one side, a jeweled hair slide or even a tiara to give it a special difference to your everyday hair.
Similarly, using hair accessories can also be a great way to give short hair style an air of elegance. A delicate hair band or small gem clips randomly placed can add the perfect final touches to your outfit. If however, you’re longing for more length and there isn’t enough time to grow it before the big day, don’t despair! Hair extensions are the best solution.

Whatever your hair type, consider how your chosen style will look when you are in your dress. High neck or halter-neck wedding dresses for example, may better suit a short hair cut or an up-do style that won’t cover any of the dress details. Also, classic looks never date – think about those wedding photos in years to come!
Remember that you need to feel comfortable and confident when you’re walking down the aisle. Don’t leave anything to chance and organize a practice run with your hairdresser before you have to do it for real!
