The Wedding Night
Are you planning on reserving that last bit of energy for after your wedding day or will you postpone it for your honeymoon? Read on for some ideas about how you can make your wedding night extra special
There was a time when the wedding night began the moment the groom carried his bride across the threshold of their new home and they consummated their marriage and slept together for the very first time.
Nowadays however, things are different. The “wedding night” is usually delayed until the Honeymoon thanks to party celebrations that go on until the small hours of the morning and the utter exhaustion of such an emotionally charged day. Whenever you choose to celebrate your first night as Mr. & Mrs., there are lots of ways to make it extra special.

Appeal to the senses: create an atmosphere full of romance with lots of candles, sensual fragrances and seductive music. You could even organize some bite-sized canapés and fresh fruit for a candlelight dinner for two.
A dose of sex-appeal: buy yourself some sexy lingerie that you can seductively remove in a striptease for your partner.
Steamy inspiration: take inspiration from American Beauty and add rose petals to a steamy bath
Private vows: write your own private vows for each other to be shared only when you are alone!
Abstinance: If you have real dedication, abstaining from having sex with your partner for a couple of months before the wedding will add to the excitement of the day and come close to recreating those traditional wedding nights that everyone’s heard about!
