Tips for Planning the Theme of your Wedding
You don't have to have a particular theme for your wedding, but if you do choose one it can make harmonising the colour and decoration and whole lot easier.
Themed weddings are becoming more and more popular, as people choose to express their unique personality on their big day. It can help you to narrow down the colour scheme and decoration, invitation cards, flowers and, let's face it, it can be good old fun!

Why not transport your wedding guests to another world, back in time, under the sea, to an imaginary land: making sure it is an experience they will never forget.
Keep the following in mind when deciding:
The wedding date: The date and season of the wedding can be an inspiration. Spring brings to mind new life, pastel colours and flowers, summer has its exotic touch, autumn warm and cosy feel and winter is all about snow-capped mountains and magic.

Your taste: The theme should reflect your personality as a couple. Do you love bright colour, or are you more conservative?
Your hobbies: Do you love sport, cinema, travelling? Why not base the theme of your wedding around these pastimes. Your guests are sure to love the element of surprise.
Your ethnic origins: If you have another culture, your wedding is the perfect place to honour this patrimony. You can choose special cultural traditions from any culture that you have a connection with or even just choose one that you take a fancy to, how about a Hawaiian theme or a Las Vegas style wedding?

One thing is for sure, with a theme you will ensure your day goes down a anything but run of the mill! Enjoy!
