We had an absolutely fabulous wedding day on 2nd Feb at Enginuity. The whole day went smoothly from start to finish, thanks to the wonderful staff. It helped us so much to have people like them in the background and everyone that encountered them for one reason or another said ... View more how brilliant they were and how helpful. The food was amazing, the bar was cheap and again, the staff were lovely. We could not have asked for more! The venue is perfect if there are children attending the wedding as there is so much to keep them entertained at times of need. I'm not even joking when I say, everyone we have spoken to has said it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and I think this was a lot to do with the awesome venue and fantastic organisation.

Blists Hill is a fabulous venue to get married and the lovely staff made it very special. Also we must mention the Sundial trio who gave a magnificent Music Hall performance %u2013 the cheers for %u2018more%u2019 were ringing out before they%u2019d even finished! Several guests ... View more have asked if they could have details to book them for various events and I will direct them to the Sundial website. The food was also an incredible success. I was really worried about introducing a bunch of meat-eaters to an all-vegetarian menu. I need not have worried %u2013 the quality of the food was superb and everyone enjoyed it. We have got some fabulous photos of the venue and some great memories.

We got married at blists hill in august and had an amazing day. We got married in the new inn and had drinks in the pub afterwards. We then had the fair for our guests and had the reception in the forest glen. The whole experience was amazing and i'm so glad we chose it as our venue. We got some wonderful photograph's of our special day.

Ths staff went above and beyond to help me with the final details on the day and the day before the big day to make sure that everything worked out well, even when things went wrong - i.e. The church was half an hour late letting us in, and the we arrived approximatly 45 minutes ... View more later - (the cars had given up on us arriving and I had given my name - obviously not taking a phone on the day they had no one to get hold of) and they took this in their stride, sorting out the food drinks for everyone, opening up the gallery - as the weather didn't turn out as well as it should have done in the middle of June - we were going to have photos on the lawn - with the rought stone/dry stone walls behind - unfortunatly everyone didn't have their picture taken here - no time following the delay of the church - but we did and it was a brilliant back drop. The day before they stayed open late to help us finish adding final touches to the room it worked out wonderfully well, and we really could'nt have done it without them. They opened early to allow bunting decoration of the barns as well as chari covers table decorations etc. I hardly noticed the staff on the day until someone mentioned how everything was working out seamlessly - so visible when needed and inconspicuous when not; so brilliantly trained staff - couldn't recommend the place and the staff enough. The food was fantastic for me, with at least one allergy or special meal per table - we had no complaints and no sudden reactions to the food, which everyone agreed was beautiful - as a Vegetarian bride the choice was great and they took into account my problems with sugar and my other allergies as well. They also accomodated vegetarian burgers and canapes seamlessly - as well as adding the local pastries into the canapies, as we wanted the food and drink to come locally - we served or should I say they served the ironbridge beer and Sedlescombe organic wine (from Groom's home village) which worked out so that we could have something local as well as local to the Groom. They accomodated this as well as the odd times that we had to drop off the wine and other oddments for the room and the occasion.

Although the initial organisers left Ironbridge, the handover was very smooth and Martin Saxton who took over was brillant. Also the venue itself (we used the Enginie Shop) is amazing and having use of the museum after 5. 30 was amazing, especially for all the children that ... View more attended. Everyone commented on the food, it was delicious so thank you to Jon and all the caterers. The waiting and bar staff were really friendly and helpful. It was the happiest day of my life so far and I can't thank the museum enough for all their help and for the amazing service that they provided. We had looked at stately homes and I have to say we're both so glad that we went for something a little bit different and also historical.
