Information about Rowallane Garden
The Rowallane Garden was created by Reverand John Moore in the mid 1860s to reflect the natural atmosphere of the surrounding grounds. Many muli colored and beatiful plants are rooted there including shrubs, bulbs, a large collection of rhododendron species and an abundance of wildflower meadows. The venue is famous for their Rock Garden Wood which features shade-loving plants.
Facilities and capacity
You may use the garden as well as the Rowallane House as a venue for your celebration of 40 to 100 guests. Another choice is underneath the Bandstand in the Pleasure Grounds or the Stable Yard which houses a Victorian water pump. Right beside it is their Barn while the Bell Tower Nook is more suited for smaller parties.
While outside performing your ceremony, the tranquil setting provides an excellent backdrop for photographs. The rhododendron collection and bulbs will be available during the spring, shrubs and roses as well as the flowers out in the walled garden will be in full bloom in the summer and colourful mapes will be in season during autumn.
