Jess was amazing from first meeting up for a hair and make up trial, trying out lots of options, and making my mum feel special too! I'm so happy I chose Makeup My Wedding Day - I felt amazing and my hair and make up lasted all day. Just a few days before the wedding, Jess pulled out all the stops, and fitted in extra hair and make up for family and friends (including a couple of divas who Jess handled with grace and ease!) into the schedule. Everyone loved the experience and went for a range or styles that were all different and really pretty. I couldn't have asked for someone more lovely and talented to make my day really special - a huge thank you!

I contacted Jess after seeing her work at a friend's wedding where all of the bridal party looked fantastic - she was really warm and friendly from the first email I sent her and when we met up for the trial she was super flexible and accommodating, really working with me to put me at ease and help me to achieve the look I wanted! She was brilliant at dealing with last minute requests/changes/mishaps on the day and stayed cool, calm and collected to get us ready on time even when we were all running late and panicking! All the wedding party went for quite different looks and she did a brilliant job with all of them.

I have no idea where to begin with Jess because she was just absolutely perfect right the way along the journey! I first met Jess for my wedding hair and makeup trial and literally arrived having no ideas for what I wanted! Jess was amazing and experimented with a few bits and came up with a hairstyle which was perfect for me (even though we are still not sure what it was!) Jess somehow managed on the wedding day to make the hair and make up even more magical and I was obsessed with the final look! My bridesmaids (and mum) also looked beautiful and despite all of our (questionable) dancing during the day, our hair and makeup still looked perfect at the end of the day! Jess is such a fun person to be around and made the morning of the wedding so relaxed and enjoyable. I encourage everyone to book with Jess if you can - she is the absolute dream!!! xxxx

Jess' service was second to none. We had to have our trial quite last minute due to COVID restrictions but she was so consultative as the trial went on, changing things to better suit my face shape and complexion and the end result was just brilliant.

Jess is amazing at her job. Myself and my bridesmaids felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and it was in no small part down to her hard work! She's responsive to your vision and needs, and offers great advice based on her own expertise and experience. She worked hard to make sure that I was completely happy with the look at both the trial and on the day. Both her and her assistant (Lara) were fun and relaxed on the morning of the wedding and helped to make the "getting ready" experience as chilled and enjoyable as possible, which was really important to me. I would strongly recommend Jessica. She did an absolutely amazing job of my wedding make up and my 6 bridesmaids! We all had our own likes and dislikes and she listened to everything we said. She is a very talented make up artist. All of the bridesmaids looks beautiful and I didn't look too bad myself! It was lovely having Jessica as part of our girlie get-ready, she takes everything in her stride (including stroppy bridezilla moments) and to be honest we didn't want to leave to go to the church because we were having such a lovely time! I have recommend Jessica to many brides since and they have all been thrilled with the service she provides.

I met Jess at an open day at our venue Crockwell Farm where she has done a lot of previous work and knew straight away that should would be the perfect person to make me look my most beautiful on my wedding day. It felt like we had already known each other for ages and we were both on the same page in terms of what I felt like I wanted. I booked in for a trial and went to her home studio a few weeks before the wedding. We had such fun trying out lots of ideas. Nothing was too much to ask. I went in with a rough idea of what I wanted but we experimented for a few hours with both my hair and makeup until we had the perfect look. My main want was to still feel like myself but at my best, and she captured that beautifully. By the time the wedding came along she felt like another friend joining the gang. I was nervous, as most brides probably are on the morning of their wedding, but she calmed me down and got me excited! She stayed with me until I walked down the aisle which was perfect because a lot of tears were shed when my dad saw me for the first time so Jess came to the rescue!
Honestly I cannot say how wonderful she was and how lucky I feel that she was a part of my day.

I found Jess through hitched and could not recommend her, for both hair and make-up, more!
I was unsure of what I wanted at my trial and Jess was very patient, trying out different styles or looks and really listening to what I was saying or asking. I even changed part of the hairstyle on the day, but Jess took it in her stride and nothing was a problem.

I had the best day and I owe a lot of this to how confident I felt because I loved what Jess had done with my hair and make-up. I don’t normally like being centre of attention but I didn’t feel self conscious once all day, and this is why you will not be sorry that you chose Jess for your special day!

Jess was absolutely amazing. Great communication from the offset and so personable and easy to chat to. My trial was amazing and the makeup and hair on the day was everything I wanted.

Jess really went above and beyond to make sure everything was right and she very helpfully found two other amazing makeup artists to come and help with the rest of my large bridal party.

Jess really listened to what I wanted unlike other makeup artists I have dealt with in the past and took onboard any suggestions etc I had. My makeup and hair - and my bridal parties - was absolutely perfect and I couldn't have wished for anything more. The make up was amazing, super natural looking - very modern, very chic and I didn't touch up my hair or makeup all day!

Leading up to our wedding day there were a couple postponements and Jess was so supportive. I had two hair trials with her as I was struggling with what I definitely wanted for my wedding day. Jess did my wedding makeup - I had a couple of trials but hadn't felt like me after any of them- Jess instantly put me at ease, asked what I wanted and what I liked and did a lovely trial with constant check ins to see if I liked it - it was a wonderful part of the wedding preparations. She was so good - my mum and bridesmaids asked her to do their make up and she ended up spinf my hair too! Really kind , professional and talented.
