Services offered

The 7 piece line-up consists of female lead vocals, trumpet, baritone and alto sax, keyboards, guitar, bass and drums. They guarantee to play the ideal music for your wedding thanks to their extensive repertoire of soul, Motown, funk, ska and many more genres to choose from. In addition, the song for your first dance can be learnt, if required.

What services do you offer?

What is included in the wedding package?

We offer approx. 2 x 50 minute sets or 3 x 40 sets depending on your requirements, as well as providing recorded music before, during our break(s) and after the live music to keep the party atmosphere

How far in advance should I contact you?

Advanced booking is recommended, but we can take later bookings. At least 2 months notice is required if requesting songs to learn

We play funk, soul & motown style songs, putting our own spin on classic songs. We also give modern songs a re-vamp and play out own arrangements. Northern soul, pop, ska, disco, funk, soul, Motown

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

We are happy to learn your first dance song if you want it played live. If not we can play your choice through our sound system. Other songs not on our standard repertoire can be discussed. Just ask!

What's your experience?

Between us we have over 50 years gigging experience, everything from your local pub to O2 stages and Phillharmonic concert halls, from festivals to intimate venues. A wealth of talent and experience

Do you have your own equipment?

Yes

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, we cannot play in venues that have a sound limiter - live drum kits and brass instruments can very easily set these off, even when not played particularly loud!

Can you travel?

Yes, west Sussex, East Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey. We can travel further if expenses are covered

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, 45p per vehicle per mile

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

What is the length of time of the act?

We can provide 1, 2 or 3 sets for your evening depending on what would best suit your arrangements. Sets are typically between 40 and 50 minutes long

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

We rehearse regularly so are always ready for a gig. If you wanted us to learn specific songs for your wedding that weren't on our repertoire we would need at least 8 weeks notice
